My choice of family was an abusive father, a submissive mother, and a younger sister in a country under the communist regime.
It wasn’t all bad though... see, both of my parents were teachers, which means I saw how schools worked from a very young age.
Can you believe I’ve known I was going to be a teacher since I was 4?
Yep... I was teaching my teddy bears and dolls and it was super obvious to me that my mission in life was to make impact on other people.
It probably had to do with how much time I spent with my grandfathers in order to avoid my dad. I’ll forever be grateful for the impact they had on me!
Remember when I told you you have to separate yourself from your business to become one of those care-free entrepreneurs?
That’s the most important lesson I learned from them. That there is an underlying principle for everything happening with or around us. The only thing we need to do, is put some distance between ourselves and the things happening in our lives so that we can observe.

I was smart at school, never really learned but paid attention and succeeded academically. But i was far from conforming, so I
have always had power struggles with authority figures.
At school, even though I was successful, I never really paid much attention. See, I had some pretty bad conflicts with my teachers because i didn’t believe they were doing a good job. I realized that teaching is tougher than people think... it requires self-regulation, leadership skills, not to mention charisma and flexibility.
